Do I have to first install OS 428 on 9550 first? Will I'll be able to use Chinese input in sms, mms, and emails? I remember for the 9530, SMS is not supported in Chinese even after the 9530 is modified to support Chinese fonts.

Does it have to be OS 428? Would it work on other versions as long as they have the same version no.
so.. just double-checking with you all..
Does Korean input work with this?
korean works, chinese works, but japanese won't work even though at install it says japanese input option available. i think the software or the phone system itself can't handle it, because the japanese language has three different writing styles and they can use them all in one sentence. its just too complicated for the phone as of now
