I have several conatacts where i have entered their brithday or anniversary with the contact and they will not show up as an event in my bb calendar. I know they used to at one point. Anyone have any suggestions?

Mine has been doing that too. I think it has to do with the bbm 5.0 service book files, though I am not sure. If someone figures this out please let me know.

Goto Options-Advanced Options-Default Services....Make sure its set to your Email and not your Facebook for instance....Try that, sounds like what happened to me.

Yeah, the only birthdays that show up in my calender are the ones that were retrieved from Facebook. The birthdays of the contacts from my gmail account don't show up. I'm also trying to get the Kansas Jayhawks calender to sync as well, but no luck thus far.

Edit *

Still haven't gotten my contacts birthdays to sync.
I went through the KU calender and just added all the events to my calender and now they show up. I guess I can just do the contacts as well....
