Default twitter apps and apps in general

Ok, now that I have my new Curve, my new data plan set up, emails all set to go, time to add some apps. Which twitter apps work the best. Twitters own mobile app, ubertwitter? What works good and dosent leak. Also, what does everyone think about vligo? Worth it? use it? Kills battery? Thanks in advance for your help.

I tried twitterberry and ubertwitter only, and I go with ubertwitter.
To save battery, I close the app one I'm done checking.
Not sure if it is the best twitter app thou.

The best 3 are UberTwitter, TwiXtreme and TweetGenius.

UberTwitter:
+ runs smoothly, nice interface, every option possible, FREE beta, tweet/dm notifications on icon
- ad-supported, ugly icon

TwiXtreme:
+ runs smoothly, cool wait-time animation, sleek look, many options, FREE, no ads
- occasional connectivity issues (nothing major), no visual/audible notifications

TweetGenius:
+ nice graphics/animations, best icon (w/notifications), best-looking Twitter client for BlackBerry, many options
- $7.99, no way to see list of following/followers, uses more resources (battery/memory) than the other two

Hope that helps

Oh, Viigo is nice for what it does, but I don't use it. KILLS the battery.

For me, MUST-HAVE apps are JiveTalk IM, BerryWeather, and possibly TweetGenius (even though I'm not really a tweet nut). Anything else is pretty much unecessary for me - I get different apps just to try them out.

Viigo's been my Feed reader of choise. Again, I only load it when I want to check what's going on, then close it down to save on battery.

The apps I have here:

Google Maps (and I removed BB maps from the phone ><)
Windows Live Messenger
Gtalk
BBM 5.0
iSkoot

Google Sync
Documents to Go
Wordpress for Blackberry
UberTwitter
BOLT Browser
File Scout
Color ID

Used to have Viigo, but it's not working on OS 5.0.

Yeah, Bolt is pretty good too. Google Maps is better than BB Maps -after the last update - but you REALLY need GPS to get the full benefit. When it works, BBM is the best standalone IM app.

UberTwitter for me every time. If it's good enough for Bumble (that's a UK cricket reference) it's good enough for me.

Found Viigo did cane the battery, didn't use it much, so deleted it.
