@berryxmas, yes i downloaded and clicked "run" on the package, but I did not delete any vendor.xml files.

Is there a step-by-step on how to install this update for my 8520 on AT&T?

I have 5.0.0.592 currently on my 8520 Curve, Ive downloaded 8520wifiM_PBr5.0.0_rel1682_PL5.2.0.104_A5.0.0.1036 _Vodafone_UK, installed it, deleted vendor.xml file and run Blackberry Desktop, it sees the update, asks me if I want to update now. Run the usual process but right after it asks if it wants to backup my device it says one or more modules cannot be resolved? Never had any issues with running other OS's even the beta ones..

I'm having problems too. Neither Desktop Manager nor Apploader will find the new software. I've deleted the vendor file and restarted my computer and it still wont find it.

    Any help will be appreciated

Install is done, must say the response times on BBM seem better, sending messages etc is very snappy.

I've been running the leaked version of this OS since it came out, there didn't seem to be anything new in it when it was leaked. Going to update to the official one once it's completed downloading.

charged my device last night after I've installed the .1036 and right now I have 80% of charge left.. if it keeps this way is a great improvement as with previous versions I would be below 50% by now.
