Wow, that would be a really cool app. Not sure if it can be done thou.

What comes to mind is the Blackberry reading a barcode and it pointing somewhere you could get the info into the contact book.

Anyone up for the challange?

I was just gonna ask the same question today. As a realtor, I shake a lot of hands and get upwards of 30-40 business cards per week. Having the ability to either photo them on site and save paper, or take them home and uplaod them as to not carry a large business card book would be great. Sure, I can enter the text info in, but it would be helpful to remember faces from business cards, without having to snap a contact picture of everyone. Any developers out there, this would be a great challenge or product. I'd drop $10-20 on it in a heartbeat pending trial!

When I clicked your link, I went to the iTunes Store. Do you have a link for BlackBerry App World?

Don't know if this helps...but do you sync your BB to Outlook or another email client on your home PC?
If so, this product works pretty well. It used to be CardScan, but they were bought out last year by a company called Dymo. We have several admin assistants that use this.

DYMO Global

It will integrate with your Outlook Contacts, and other mail clients as well.

Wait...a better answer:

And it would be great if any of the buttons worked on a Storm2. It does not navigate, the text size does not fit in the boxes. You guys just took my $10.
