Default BlackBerry Curve 8520 Frost Blue

I am having a tough time selecting a Blackberry. I tried a Pearl, but after using that I decided that I want a QWERTY keyboard. So I switched to a 8520 Frost Blue. I am having difficulty seeing the keypad depending on light conditions. I assume a black version would be as difficult to see. I am now even considering the older 8820, but is that old enough that I won't see it in stock at local dealers any longer? Are all of the Blackberry keypads difficult to see or are some better than others?

Why don't you jus get a 8900 or a Bold instead of downgrading to a 8830

I don't have an issue with the frost one at all. Keypads fine in bright light...then again I basically have memorized the keyboard so its not too big an issue for me.

Go with the Pearl White 8520! The 8820 is a good, solid device but it's too old now.You want the RAM and Memory of the newer devices.

Either black or white one. But real blackberry is black, after all black is black.
