I'm really curious as to who'll be waiting in line (if there is one) outside their local VZW store on the morning of the 12th to get their Tour! I pre ordered mine b/c I'm paranoid that there won't be enough available in store for me to get one (I know with the Storm, some stores only got 10 units). I talked to CS and he said they'd "learned from that mistake" and that's why there's the pre order option. I'm assuming thet VZW will give priority to those who pre ordered and stores will have limited quantities at first? However, if I'm wrong and stores will have plenty on hand and I'll be the shmuck waiting 2 extra days to get mine...I'll be pissed!

So....who's braving the store and who played it "safe" and pre ordered??

I am getting mine from the store even if I wanted to preorder I cant..

Going to store bright and early:-)

Maybe a few hours before to get a good spot.

im in such a dilemma...there are three stores i could go to

1. which is first come first serve (what time???)
2. im on a list and the rep said they usually get enough in for everyone
3. a store that most people forget exists (at least i hope so)

any ideas/opinions?

I'm taking a few hours off of work to be there right when it opens...but I went to a Verizon store on Wed and ask the CSR if they will have the Tour in stock on Sunday the 12th...he said he didn't know...so I got a number to call on the Friday before and see if the truck came in with the Tours...

hmmm...also, is it only their corporate stores that get it? because here they have stores labeled verizon wireless (kind of what circuit city had) but they would always tell me to go to main store to do like tech stuff. so would the main store be getting them or will all vzw chains have them?

ill be going an hour early to be sure good thing im off that day and if there is a line somebodys getting punched in the face and im taking cutsies lol

Main stores will have them. Other chains I don't see it happening for a bit. Deal with cooperate ones.

I learned my lesson with the Storm. I am going to wait a couple weeks for the feedback to come out on this site before I purchase mine. So no line waiting for me!

storm was brand new technology though. where are you guys from? do you really think there will be lines to the point where the phone will sell out in the first hour? it hasn't even been advertised, most reps don't realize the phone is coming yet.

some towns, like mine, almost every has a blackberry or wants one...ive been waiting so long ill be so annoyed if theres a long line and none left for me. theres a really long waiting list at my store thats been going on since DECEMBER!
