Default What's the big deal with the Tour?

Can someone (in one sentence) explain why they think the Tour is such a revolutionary phone?

I just don't get the hype...

If you don't get the hype now after numerous threads pertaining to the Tour, numerous reviews praising the Tour, and numerous people who have the Tour already praising the Tour, I don't think one sentence is going to change your mind. Wait for the Storm 2.

Because its everything a BlackBerry should be and RIM has put in it the best keyboard to ever be on a BB, the best screen on a BB, the best browser to be on a BB, the perfect size, the most stable OS, global capability and more memory.

Seriously there have already been like 5 - 10 threads on this and there are still some showing up on the first page of this forum.

You're right. I don't think one sentence will change my mind.

huh? I love my Storm and I think all the naysayers are just plain unrealistic about what the capabilities of a touchscreen BB should be...

If you love your Storm, then wait till you see the Storm 2. Your original will be a distant memory. I highly recommend it. Tour is still a fantastic choice, but if Touchscreen suits your style, then wait for the real Storm.

All this talk about the Storm 2....Just more hype. Anything and everything you have heard about the Storm 2 is just speculation anyway...

I have no problems with my Storm. What could the Storm 2 possibly offer over mine--Wifi (don't give a hoot), non clickable screen (ridiculous, I love my clickable screen and have trouble playing with a friend's iPhone now), faster OS/processor (give me a break, this is a SMARTPHONE, not a SUPER COMPUTER)...I think people need to start being a little more realistic about what to expect from a mobile device.

If you love your Storm, have no issues with it, have no intention of getting a Tour or Storm 2, then why do you care what the hype is about?

Because I like to stay informed about these phones. Aren't these forums all about learning and soliciting other people's opinions?

In one sentence or less:

I don't get it, OP...

You've basically shot down any form of upgrading that will go in to the Storm 2 and have down played the MAJOR upgrades that will be available on the Tour...

Does that mean you'll never buy another phone again? lol...not sure what your definition of upgrade is, but I just find it odd that you've basically said "who cares" when it comes to something like a faster processor on a phone...thats actually a pretty big deal.

Speculation and everything you heard? Do you know what I do for a living? I'm glad you love your Storm, but I wouldn't downplay Part Deux. Adding Wi-fi and a non clickable screen wasn't the reason why I said Storm 2 is better.
