Already posted this in the unlocking forum, but wasn't sure if this would be a more appropriate place to ask. So I'm currently stuck on US Cellular for another year and want to upgrade to a Blackberry Tour without having to sign an extension on the contract. I'm looking to buy one off of Craigslist/ebay and wondering if I buy an unlocked one if it will in fact work on US Cellular? I apologize in advance if this is an overly-asked question but didn't find any threads about US Cellular in general and all of my experience in the past has been with ATT.
The only way to be sure is to ask USCellular if they will activate an unlocked Tour that you didn't buy from them. Verizon and Sprint won't, but some of the smaller regional carriers will. It's up to the carrier.
