Default Is there anyway to move my purchased apps to new phone?

Hi guys
I am planning on upgrading from my curve to the New Blackberry Tour next weekend and I was wondering how, if possible, to move my previously purchased apps to my new phone? Is this possible and how would i do it?
Thanks
Kristy

I verified with a few developers that there wouldn't be an upgrade fee for a few of the apps I purchased. Can't guarantee it'll be like that for all apps though.

ones you paid for, just download them again if you have to and use your registration key that came with your verification email when it was purchased....most sites will have them stored if you have an account created

One thing I have done is backed up 3rd party applications via the BB DM. I dont know if the compatibility will be an issue (going from storm to tour).... NEVER HURTS TO TRY...

Search "***How-To Backup 3rd Party Apps DM 4.7***" and you will get the full instructions....

I dont know if this will work but maybe???

For some apps, the Reg Key is generated using your PIN, so it will be specific to the PIN you originally purchased it for. I have found that virtually all developers / sales outlets (such as Crackberry, Handango, etc) will provide a new Reg Key for your new PIN if you let them know you have purchased a new BB and want to transfer the app.

The suggestion by nicentral541 to do the 3rd party app backup is an excellent one, because if you have not save the download on your PC, and you did not purchase "download protection" when you bought the app, you may not be able to download the app again for your new BB. There is also a utility in DM for switching devices which will help in transferring data and apps.

If you purchased them through our store, there is a link on your account page to submit a new PIN. Once that is changed you can download all the apps to the new device and use the new license keys.

When I had previously purchased a theme from Crackberry and had to switch my Curve for another I used the Blackberry Desktop Manager "Device Switch Wizard" feature. It transferred everything over to the new device for me even though some of my apps (including my theme) was attached to my PIN.
I'm hoping this works for all purchased apps.

What about switching over phone numbers? Do they have to do that at the store?

I use Desktop Manager, but since I'm switching phones, I'm guessing that won't work to re-add contact info.

I tried the changing PIN thing on crackberry, and when I went to register, it gave me this error message "The License you entered is not valid. Please make sure you entr the license exactly as supplied"
This is after I changed the PIN in "My downloads" account.Any suggestions? I bought A LOT of Apps that I would like to get back on my replacement device.Any help would be greatly appreciated.
