Sprint Tour - Forced Roam

I read that the tour will ship with OS 4.7 or later. Does that OS support forced roaming as opposed to just automatic roaming? If not, are there any third party apps or other workarounds for forced roaming?

I have the sprint curve with OS 4.3 that allows forced roaming and purposely did not upgrade to OS 4.5 because 4.5 does not allow forced roaming.

I think Sprint has disabled that feature on all their newer phones. You wont see it on the Tour. I am pretty much certain of that.

Good question, maybe a Verizon person can answer that. I dont know if Verizon has ever even offered that option on any of their phones. I played with a friend of mines Verizon Curve, and his definitely didnt have it.

They did away with that feature because too many ppl were abusing it. The more you roam the more you cost sprint.

There appear to be forced roaming workarounds for other manufacturers but nothing for the blackberry OSs.
