I just downloaded the unofficial bbm 5.0.54 and now my bbm icon is gone. But it's still showing that its on my phone when I go to advanced options-applications.
How do I get it back????????

would try a battery pull first ... then if no luck would go to applications and do a uninstall and then reinstall and should fix your problems ... hope that helps

This happened to me when I installed BBM5 over whatever came with the phone and Desktop Manager "downgraded" me. I believe if you uninstall BBM5, reboot and then install BBM5 then it should be back...
If that still does not work, I would recommend getting Desktop Manager to remove BBM5 and then install the older version of BBM (whatever came with your OS) and THEN install the leaked BBM5 over that.

well i've been trying that....so right now, i'm uninstalling the unofficial bbm that i installed and going to go to the app world and try installing the bbm version that's there....
im having the same problem i cant understand why some people can download and install leak apps or os and have no problems but like the other 30% do have problems and most of the time its not operater error..

Well i uninstalled the leaked bbm and then went to the blackberry app world and install the version that's there. it worked perfectly! As for the leaked OS, that I WON'T install. I choose to wait until sprint has it.
