Default Unlock the tour?

What happens when you unlock this phone? Since it is for CDMA carriers but has GSM capabilities and would run on Edge speed. Does this mean u could buy this phone from telus or verison and unlock and use it with ANY carrier???? ie Telus,Bell, Fido, Rogers in canada and Sprint, Verison, AT&T, Alltel etc in the states?

Does anybody know for sure if the Sprint Tour will have Visual Voicemail like the VZW one?

Default only 2GB?

Pre–installed 2GB microSD™ Memory Card? why only 2GB? The Storm came out with an 8GB, right? Has this been covered some where else?

Was in the store with my 3rd broken 8330 today and the tech told me the problems I am having will not be fixed and that since I was authorized by support to switch devices I will have to wait until this tour thing comes out. I was told by them that this tour is the only device I can switch to from the 8330, IE I don't qualify for the Storm. So in Verizon eyes it appears as if this is the curve replacement. FYI, the problems I am reporting to vzw is the known: stuck messages on today, back light with a mind of its own, and the ever popular speakerphone blast....

Yes. The instinct. That was one of the reason given as to why anyone who wanted that phone needed one of the new plans. So when the pre came out without visual voicemail but still requiring the new plan some folks were stumped.

Yea the Instinct already has visual VM. Verizons visual voicemail is an extra $2.99/month but Sprints is free. Thats why I was wondering if the Sprint Tour will be capable like VZW (which I really don't see why it wouldn't) or if anybody has heard it confirmed (or not) for Sprint.

Default Tour works with Storm OS??

My bad if I'm out to lunch on this... it just strikes me as odd that an OS built to serve a portrait/landscape device like Storm would also be compatible with a Bold-like device. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance for clarifying.

Does anyone know if there is an easy way to get my contacts from my env2 to the tour? I have always used Backup Assistant when upgrading dumb phones. Is this application available for Blackberrys?

Thanks.

I want to point something out re GSM/edge. If you're on T-Mobile you can't use the Bold's 3G anyway. So if you're on T-Mobile, using an unlocked Tour would provide you with the same EDGE as the Bold. So no harm in using the Tour on T-mobile. Somebody correct me if I am wrong.

Good question, I also would like to know.

Secondly: "Pre-Installed 2BG memory card" ??? So they took that horrible task of sliding it in the slot for us LOL. Too bad because I already have an 8GB card waiting at home for this baby.
