Reallyyyyy? Wow, thats great news. I remember hearing about it having a new browser, and now that I think about it, RIM was hiring developers to work on their browser. Well, I guess I'm going to be going to the Niagara!

UGH, too big, I really wanted something I can fit in my pocket. Any word on the 8900 CDMA equivalent (I'm not even going to try the code names) for Verizon?

I believe you're talking about the Jupiter? Or the Pluto? lol That is not supposed to come out until probably later this year...like Q4. But the 9630 does not look too big. It is MUCH smaller looking than the Bold and only a tiny bit bigger than the Curve 8900.

i say yaaawn..... in 2010 it will be the new 9830 CDMA bold with 512MB of RAM and a 5.7 mp camera
RIM keeps releasing the same phone with a slight twist every year and we all act like crack addicts jumping up and down and cheering
get innovative RIM

Why would VZW take it out? Definately a step backwards.

IMHO, this is a much better device than the Storm. I've told others that from the start. But that's my opinion. With or without Wifi, it's still the better device.

Yes, it handles Javascript a tad better, but it's just fast bro. And in person and while in your hand, it's quite the sex machine.

The Real Estate of the screen looks to be a little narrower than the Bold but as tall. IMHO

could someone please tell me what the difference is in this phone from the curve, i dont get it. Why was this phone made when there are the curves and bold already? I was thinking the next phone like the curve would have he qwerty key board and a touchscreen.

Well like the Bold is to the Curve, the Niagara is to the Curve. It has a much faster processor. Works on Verizon's fastest Rev A network. Unlike the Curve it has quadband EDGE, and also works on HSPA. It has more memory than the Curve. Much better screen resolution than the Curve. And some other things. Basically this is the CDMA version of the Bold and it is also replacing the 8830 WE.
