Default I dropped my Storm. Screen is bricked

So I just dropped my phone on the floor. The touchscreen is cracked and on the edge there's a bigger crack and on the right side there's a big damaged stripe on the actual viewscreen almost across the phone from top to bottom. It's still usable but the screen is just 20% rubbish. Does anyone have any idea if this is something that can be easily repaired or if it falls under the general warranty?

It won't fall under warranty if you dropped it, but it would be covered by insurance if you have it.

Otherwise, you can order a new screen from cnn.cn for $100 and replace it yourself. It's not that hard to do.

I just dropped mine from the couch onto the hardwood floor a couple days ago. Not the first time I had dropped it, but the first time it has landed screen down. The screen wasn't hurt, but all the hark keys popped out. Remember the cheesy Arnold Movie "Total Recall" where when they'd be outside on Mars their eyes would pop out? That's what it looked like. but I just pushed them back in and they're fine now...lol!
