Did it on Sunday. While waiting for a rep to get to me gave me time to play around with the Droid. Instead of asking for a replacement S2 (bb key and escape key serious issues) I got the Droid.

I still think the S2 is a great phone. I won't get into which one is better, that's a personal preference.

Im also hoping to upgrade very soon, need to turn this storm in and if the next one craps out i get a droid (according to the man i talked to on the phone with verizon at-least)

gearing up for my jump around xmas, too! can't wait. but i'm most likely gonna get the eris. i like the smaller phone considering i'll be carrying two work phones, my phone and a laptop with me. and i can't get past the hardware for the droid

I wish verizon would recognize and admit to the problems with the storm, I mean if you have one that works fine but so many of them fail that it seems like they should except exchanges much easier than the current policy which requires bringing in your 3rd return (4th phone overall) if it has problems and then paying a 35 dollar fee.
