Theres been some reason behind it that iDen networks cant handle data transfer during a call and vice versa. if anything, you COULD try a battery pull, but it could either be an outage or its just that you were occupied with something else while somone decided to mms/email you etc. try retrieve now, or send again; that should push it over when you arent already doing something on the BB.

Try a battery pull with the phone on. Wait 30 seconds and reinstall. This usually fixes a lot of issues. I installed a program named QuickPull, which allows you to do a soft reset without taking the back off and removing the battery.

I tried the batt pull but its still not letting me send or receive text, i also reinstalled the service books. my internet, gps, maps, dc, and incoming/outgoing calls works fine. just having a problem with the mms. Do you think its an outage in the north carolina area?

Usually when i try the battery pull the phone will work with no problem, but this time its still not working. Where did you find the program QuickPull?

Look here under the APP Store tab at the top. This will not replace a battery pull. It will however get you close to a battery pull but so will a 3 finger reset.

It could very well be an outage. These things are hardly ever having to do with a problem on your side unless you intentionally messed with service books or the like. Your worst case scenario if you are a responsible boost-berry user is to just wait it out until it gets better. I myself am experiencing what could be an outage in central florida, and although it is frustrating, its sorta expected as what we're doing is risque in itself. Sorry i couldn't be much help, but at least you know you aren't alone in this.

Default Maybe a temp quick fix

So Ive noticed that every once in a while, Im on the southside of Chicago, that my mms was going out at the very early hours of the morning. It stopped when I changed my IMEI number on the boost website to reflect my 8350i and then stood on the phone with the rep and forced them to resignal my cell phone with the new 8350I IMEI number. They kept telling me that my cell phone was causing a network outage and I would always have problems with my phone because I was not using a boost phone. It wasnt until the sixth, yes literally the sixth supervisor?manager got on the phone and after a 20 minute rant, he finally reset my cell. Have not had a mms issue since.
Just a thought... Oh and have anyone else had this issue with customer service? Especially if they said u are the cause of network problems?!?!

Nextel was having a network wide MMS and SMS problem the other day. I called and talked to a Nextel rep Thursday evening and she told me that the texts were not being received or sent for a while. They figured it out late Thursday becuase I started to get a bunch of texts from people that were not with Nextel all at once. You could look at the time they were sent during the day. I was able to get a $30.00 credit to my bill for having that issue. I told them I wont happy with paying my bill in full price and only getting half the service so they ended up giving me a credit.
