Crucial.. thank you so much for this post. I have been fighting with OS installs since the updates to the DM and haven't been able to get them to install properly. Most of the time I have to use BB Swiss Knife or something like it..
This worked like a charm and I was even able to get back to BBM 4.7.
Much props.

Yep, appreciate the thread crucial. I would also go as far as to say, this might be good to put in every bb forum, especially the bold section, as this would pertain to pretty much anybody that uses DM. The BBSAK link was a very useful link for me, thanx to Cal-El for the 1.5 link...

I have a bit of a different issue...
The OS shows in DM for me, but when I click on it, DM connects to the phone...does some scanning then reports saying an upgrade is not required or some message similar to that. The phone has 4.7.75 and its telling me it doesnt need to update to 5.0.328.
Please help |

ok here is my problem...I dropped my precious storm in a small glass of water two days ago...I had already upgraded my software to .328 and loved it....so yesterday when I finally got the phone on again I had to force an os load the only problem is that it will only let me force .148 and when I try to upgrade it keeps stopping at waiting for device to initialize and keeps going through the reboot of the red led going off and on and my computer chiming that the device is connested then not connected...I have deleted the vendor file...done a full wipe with BBSAK and tried to just upload .328...I have uninstalled and reinstalled DM..I am lost at what to do now...I just want my phone to upgrade....I have a 9530 unlocked running it with tmobile...any help is greatly appreciated....
