You actually hit DELETE. All you are doing is taking off apps you do NOT use & you can always reinstall them via the desktop manager later if you want to.

Default VZW BIS Site

If you are switching from an existing BB to the storm, you need to switch the PIN info here...
If you ever need to resend your service books, do it from here..
If you want to remove "sent wirelessly from my vzw BB", do it here.

vzw bis site

I would advise everyone to have an account set up AND bookmarked..

Default Inline text edit - deleting a highlighted character(s) / word(s)

Follow earlier posts to put the cursor into positioning mode (it becomes a narrow blue rectangle). Position it over the character (or characters/words)you want to delete which then turn blue highlighted. Press "!?123" (credit to earlier post that this acts like ALT key of old) and then press the Backspace key. In this mode the Backspace key acts as a Delete key.

Yes i have it and it works great. you can have it in a separate window you can minimize windows to dock have it full screen or run it in unity mode which actually puts the programs running on windows separate in your mac dock it is pretty sweet. It also can run multiple platforms. for example if you want vista and xp you can partition to separate parts of hard drive and run them both. Also allows drag and drop from mac right to windows and vice versa. Pretty sad when your MAC runs windows better than a PC

I am on BES and when i open email it says more availble and i have to select menu and select plain text. is there a way to not have to do this every time. with my pearl it would do that only once in a great while. this seems to do it on every e-mail, but after you have done it once then every time you look at the same message after that the text is there.

Great thread...thanks

Any know if XM (now Sirius/XM) will be available for the Storm.

It seems that it's not the available for the Storm...yet?

Here's what I've found.

...Now available on many smartphones including BlackBerry®Curve™, BlackBerry® Pearl™, BlackBerry® 8800 Series & BlackBerry® 8700 Series (requires 4.2 handheld software.)
Thanks for any help.

I seem to recall someone mentioned in another thread (one of the 25 apps threads, I believe) they found a way to stream it from their PC. Sorry I didn't pay much attention as I don't have XM/Sirius.
