Does it only work in landscape ?
And I must say that is pretty cool just as long as it isnt a glitch that will eventually screw up the phone lol.

I tried this out. I'm at walmart and typing as I use this "trick". Its hard to focus on the camera when I have to see what letters I have to hit. But the thought of this as an app is ingenious. I wouldn't pay for it though, due to the fact that's its already there just not moveable.

Since people get confused, and in not taking credit
Step 1. on home screen, go to options.
Step 2. Go to status
Step 3. hit BB menu button
Step 4 select "show keyboard"
Step 4 type the word "test"
A white screen should pop up
Step 5. Got BB menu button
Step 6. Select "start"
Step 7. Select "camera" and hit run
Step 8. Hit any key. Call, menu, escape, or end.
A little box should come up with the view from the camera, of not then update your OS. Earlier ones I believe don't have this option.
STEP 9. Press and hold you BB menu button and select home screen.
From there you go to your messages it contacts and send them a text. Or do what ever you wana do.
To get rid of the box either open up you camera.

drank a little to much to keep count. Sorry about two "step 4"

I just tried it on my tour and it works for me too and I'm still on 4.7.

BTW, if you run the "Misc" test, you get a continuous readout of the light sensor output, and you can clearly demonstrate the landscape-mode-dimming bug. If you switch to landscape, and keep the unit in the exact same position relative to the light source, the sensor output drops by half.

Hey cb.mike...
What kind of SD card problems do you have?
Just in case. SD card is useless when you're connected to the computer.
