Default What Gives with StormLock Support

Steelthorn are the makers of StormLock.

My Storm dies and Verizon sends me a replacement. Of course my activation code for StormLock will not work on the replacement.

I contact Steelthorn support and ask them for my options. They email back advising me to send my new PIN number and they will send a new activation code. They even state this on their website.

Steelthorn Software :: How do I get another Registration code for a replacement Storm?

One week later, I email them asking for the status of my new activation code. I get an email back saying my activation code can be found on the original order email. (WTF???) I thought maybe they "reset" it so I tried to use the original order activation code and of course it doesn't work.

All further attempts to get this resolved via email have been ignored by Steelthorn. Has anyone else been treated like this when requesting a replacement code?

Guess I should be happy I am only out 2.99. Jerks.

They have sent me replacement codes whenever I have requested.

No issues.

If you bought it from CrackBerry App Store or Mobihand, why don't you just change your PIN in your profile page? It will give you a new key free of charge.

Yeah, I had no issues getting a replacement code. Sorry for your bad experience. Maybe try calling them so you can actually talk to someone?

Why you guys use StormLock when there's been a free app since last year called "ScreenLock" that works exactly like StormLock:

NaNNa BoaT!

It works on every OS including .148 and I've never had a single problem with it. And it's FREE and you'll never have to worry about PIN problems again.

I didn't change phones, but needed my activation code after the .148 upgrade. I've been trying to get my code for a week with no response.

I coulndt last a week, maybe 4 days I let that go on for. Then I started using screen lock.

I have had this problem with slot of venders. Handango you have to buy download insuramce for every purchase or you can't redownload after thirty days. Total bs. But a 5$ sop and you gotta pay 6.99 to Download again after 30 days. What a ripp off. Never buy anything from them again. But it is the same hasSle about everywhere. BS. MAKES me not wanna but any apps. Crackberry store seems about the easy st to work with. But not perfect. Trial to get a activation code now foe areixe alerts now. Don't work now. Can't get a new code. Very frustrating.

I had to wipe my phone and reinstall. It worked for EVERY APP but Stormlock. I sent THREE e-mails and no response. I included all my payment information and pin - NO Response. I tried calling their number. Disconnected.
So to answer the question has anyone else been treated like this. Yup. Do business with them at your own risk...
I guess they took the money and ran.

I got a new storm on Sunday and had my new code in less than an hour.

You have to use the support form on their website, they do not use email anymore.
