Just finished download Opera Mini Beta 2 on my Storm.
Things I see that are new or different (after a couple minutes of use):
Opera Sync - can sync passwords and speed dial with desktop
Download manager - which implies that the browser can download now (haven't tried)
Navigation buttons at the bottom seem a bit bigger
No option for Opera's custom keyboard (at least I didn't see it)
Can actually type an address in address bar and hit enter to go there (this never worked for me before, making it rather difficult to go to a web site that wasn't on speed dial).
Plus, I seem to be able to open links in emails using the default browser again (before the "Get Link" option in the menu wasn't there).

:-)
Back button works, but bb button is still screwed. End button sends to background.

Yes. Options for BOTH open in Browser and open in OM. (Although open in OM doesn't appear to work if OM is running, it grabs focus but does not seem to redirect.)

i downloaded but the virtual keyboard is gone? any idea?
Tried this out this morning. Didn't quite load the pages I visit regularly well. Text boxes didn't work on the pages and some links didn't work. Looks like its back to Bolt until another release.

Um, where are these options located? I can't seem to find the option to open an email link with OM.
In order to close out of Opera Mini Beta 2 click on the wrench icon and select exit. The BB button shows/hides the address bar. The escape key moves it to the background but still running. Using on the Storm 1. Love this release. Never had any luck with Beta 1.

Yup --> virtual keyboard is gone - replaced by multitap (but I get multitap only when I touch the address bar and SureType for everything else (e.g., entering passwords on web pages)).
Opera Link is working great for me; no issues with speed dial or bookmark synch.
Still doesn't work in Socket mode for 5.0. That means that we are still not seeing the highest potential speed since whenever you select new links there is a pause that is common in http access. Although this is still fast by BB standards.
Scrolling is still a little herky jerky with only a tiny hint of flick scrolling which makes navigating around a large website a less than ideal experience.
