This can be a place where we can post our results from the dynolicious AKA dynostorm App. I know It isn't out yet but when it is... Let's see how fast your car is and how well the app works!!! Also any tips for calibrating the app for the most accurate results. If you don't have "Capture it" you should get it so we can see your screen shots! (pics or it isn't true)
I seem to have created a car forum inside a Blackberry forum! Ready, Set, Go..... Post. Just to keep us from having to look for the post add to the thread with your results a brief recap of the car used.
Magnum RT 2008 RWD
[stock except for a Borla cat back]
[BigBully CAI and Diablo in the mail]
Tips; If you have helpful info PM me and I will add it.
-For the best results have the Storm mounted or at least immobile with the battery cover facing the front of the car and the top of the device Perpendicular to the plane of the road. It is also acceptable to have as much as a 90 degree tilt toward the front of the car.
-When setting up the drivetrain loss I suggest that a value of zero be used. This will calculate the hp @ the wheels. You can extrapolate the loss using the known hp at the crank. (if stock this value is given in vehicle specs) If the car is not stock just use the stock hp and add up estimated gains from various mods for estimated crank hp (chp). If you're bad at math.... 100-((whp/chp)*100)= Drivetrain loss % If you want to add the DT loss estimate 15-25%
Current Mods; Borla Cat Back
Future Mods; Big Bully CAI (being fabricated), Kooks long tube headers w/ high flow cats, Under drive Pulley, Diablo Predator tune...
03 BMW 330i. It had 225hp brand new, I wonder how many it has left. . I really want to see the lateral g's though. See if the anti-roll bar and wider tires help.
