When someone first asked me to make a “Kenny Powers” app, I honestly had no idea what or who that was, but I was intrigued by the number of people asking for it. So I found out Kenny Powers is the main character in the HBO comedy Eastbound and Down, and let me tell you, its frigan hilarious. HBO hasn’t done much since the Sopranos worth watching, but this show really does rock.

This app is a soundboard type app, similiar to my Thats What She Said app, but different, this app is more of a soundboard as in you can choose specific quotes from specific episodes, instead of random quotes like TWSS. Also, in order to maximize the number of quotes I could use, I only used one wallpaper in portrait only. There were even more clips I wanted to use, but didnt want this app to get huge.

Features:

* 30 Kenny Powers sound clips
* The ability to choose specific clips
* The clips are seperated into 3 groups. (Episodes 1 & 2, 3&4, 5&6)
* New ability to check and download new versions.
* Works on all Storm OS versions including .75
* Volume adjustable using the device volume keys

Instructions:

* Swipe left and right to change quotes
* Swipe up and down to change episodes
* Click the screen to play the quote
* Press device volume up and down to change volume

This app has foul and vulgar language, and adult themes. Then again, what did you expect from Kenny F$#!ING Powers?!?!?

Currently this app is for the Storm only, but if you want it made for your device, be sure to leave a comment, if there is enough demand, I might make a non-touchscreen version.

someone said the sound wasnt working for them on .75, this might be a fluke, or maybe i forgot the code to make it work on .75. if that is the case i will fix it this afternoon, i gotta sleep now been up all night coding.

Sound clips need to be cleaned up a bit. They need to be chopped better with a nice fade out to hide the clipping.

Thanks guys, I am going to release a version that works with .75 later today, I must have forgot the code to do it.

Also, i will try to add any clips you all request and clip them a little better, crackberry member geewhiped helped out big time by getting the clips out of the show, he had a lot to do.

I just took about an hour and did the .132 update and problem solved. Works great. Anyone with .75 just needs to update for this to work.

Hey guys, i need two testers for the new version of this app, one person with .75 who wasnt getting sound, and one person with any other os who was getting sound. (to make sure that i fixed the .75 sound issue and didnt mess anything up for every other os in the process)

Updated to v1.0.7, fixes sound in OS .75!!!!

RIM actually updated the developer jde for 4.7 and made it impossible to fix the bug in .75?!?!? Weird, i had to recompile the app on my old workstation that had the old version of the JDE in order to get it working for os .75. maybe because .75 will be gone soon?

anyways, you can redownload or you can try out the "Check for updates" feature in the app which should tell you there is a new version and will let you download it! If this DOESNT work for anyone, please let me know. I am curious if it works for people who are NOT on BES (BIS only). If you are, please click "Check for updates" in the menu and tell me if it works. thanks.
