DMG, I was wondering if you could put up the wallpaper that storm slider uses? I love the BB logo and would like that as my wallpaper. Great app BTW.

the whole point is to make stormslide as fully functional as a stand alone locking device as possible for the blackberry, and not have to use 2 locking mechanisms, thats why i was asking if the suggestion was a possibility b/c it would improve its sole functionality as a locking application
(stop spamming it so he can see the suggestions being made! jk, but for real

Had to uninstall storm slider due to battery drain. Once I did that battery life was excellent again. Was getting 16hrs with SS and now getting at least 32hrs without. I liked the app tho

Mine too. The SS ate all my battery after one night.

Not hold down, just touch a center of bb pic and wait for 20 seconds.

I have never and will never expect my storm to stay charged for 32 or even 16 hours the way I use it. 12 Hours under moderate to heavy use is an acceptable number i feel. My 8830 was about the same.

Thats exactly why im making this crucial suggestion, b/c it truly drains bat life, maybe not for women that have it in a purse! but if its in your pocket its basiclly clicking all the time. I also was very excited when i found this app b/c it was exactly what i was looking for, but this implementation will make it or break it for me, and im sure many users share the same stance.

I didnt read through all 51 pages, but will this app allow you to use your own background image instead of the blackberry logo? Any help is appreciated.

Same here. When my phone is locked with this app, the screen lighting up in my pocket every time it's pushed in is a huge drain on battery. If Storm Slider was revised in a future update to only turn on the screen when the physical buttons(Lock, Mute, Send, BB, Escape, & End) are pressed in, it would be soooo much better. Do developers have access to this when making an app or no?

Yeah, hover over it with your finger, don't click, and a number pad will pop up. You can then set a password to be entered in order to unlock.
