I check my memory and I have

19.4MB App memory
874.1MB Device Memory
1.4GB Media Card

Should it be saying Low Memory Mode on the slider screen like this?

Thanks Guys..
when ur phone goes around below 20mb, goes into low memory mode...tries to save some of the memory by disabling the text animation, etc

check out faqs for more info

One thing I've noticed is that SS does not get along well with the one theme I've tried, specifically AppleBerry 1.3 Classic Today. I've always hovered around 22-28mb with SS and default theme. I went to AB 1.3 with SS and my memory dropped and dropped down to 8mb which it's never done before. I removed SS and now my memory is hovering at 20-22 with AB 1.3 and no SS.

No idea what's going on...

PLEASE HELP! i purchased SS not too long ago and all is great until i set my daily alarms and when its time to beep, all i get is a half-vibrate. after that all i see on my screen is a snooze and disable button. no beeps? i read a few pages back that somebody else was having this problem so i checked my options>storm slider> and made sure everything was correct. i tried both ON and OFF for options and its still a no go. i would hate to disable this app just to run my alarm daily, especially if i have a nosey gf! on a side note: my quickpull is scheduled for 3a.m. every morning and whats odd is that it doesnt reboot. it only reboots after i unlock SS. anybody care to explain? thanks!

set ur options "launch on clock" to no... have the clock app running, the app will not run but the alarms will sound, once u turn off the clock, ss will run again (u can also do it individually,

visit the faqs page for more info (link is in my sig)

For those wondering/thinking about purchasing this app I have written a comprehensive review about it:
Blackberry Storm: StormSlider (Give your Storm a Taste of the iPhone) « Blackberry Storm and iPod Touch
I hope this helps you decide if you think it is worth it.

I removed the app as well. Memory was dropping down to around 6mb.

I feel I was duped when i read that the actual lock button triggered the app. The whole, wait till it fades out thing is a work around...

I also preferred the icon option that the free version had. I mapped it to the side button with bumps on it.

And why does everyone call it a dollar app, i paid $3 for it at the CB store.. i guess i overpaid?

Once an update is made available, how does one download it?

I haven't been experiencing any memory problems at all, staying constant around 35 or so.

When a new update is available you will receive an e-mail from the crackberry store. Just go to the mobile download link you received when you first bought this app or you can go to "my account" and get the link from there.

Default StormSlider is not the culprit!

Nor have I been experiencing any memory problems. I recently got a new phone because I cracked my screen and when I readded all of my 3rd party programs (since the backup utility doesn't back them up) I never added my themes back on. On my old phone, I had the Storm Today Plus Hidden theme and I could never figure out why I would have to restart my phone at least twice a day because of my memory being too low. Now that I have a new phone without my theme, I am constantly at 40mb of free memory. If I didn't have my MeterBerry set to restart my phone once a day while I'm sleeping, then I would never have to reset it because of low memory. I'm going to try installing the applications that supposedly have memory leaks like App World and Viigo and I'm going to see how true it really is. The StormSlider application is not the culprit. It is most likely your theme!

This is exactly my problem getting the program up and running on my 9530.

Has anyone offered a solution? Is there a way to "reset" permissions? I can only see DENY as an input simulation option.

I don't believe my BES is hindering this...
