The way I stop it is by hitting the escape button until I get to the main screen that has the 4 countries ( Australia, Canada, Germany, and United States) then click the Blackberry button, then select exit. After I did that the app shut down for me...

On the main screen with the 4 countries, click the BB button and go to options, you will see where it says Mute/ Audio. Select that and change the from Mute Audio to Stop Player then save. Now you can stop the player by using the Mute Button...
Great app! What really surprises me is that you can pick up the correct frequencies with a BB.. Thats nuckin futz!
The BB isn't (nor is it capable of) picking up those frequencies. Volunteers stream them live from their scanners to Radiorefernce.com. BBscanner is just the middle man, streaming to your BB. Great app IMO. A decent scanner runs $500. This app may get more people to stream their areas.
