Default blackberry storm...Worst phone ever?

I realize that I am in a blackberry support forum and most people here really enjoy their blackberry storms. (title was just to get people to read this), but Ive had my storm for 5 months now and I have been patiently waiting for a new operating system to fix ALL of the Many problems I have with the phone every day. I first upgraded to the .76 which was okay but still too laggy, i was missing calls and the battery life was a maximum of 8 hours and even less if I'm actually using the phone. So i thought it was time to upgrade again so i looked on here to find the newest and a very highly reviewed system to upgrade to, .113 beta. And i made the worst mistake possible with this phone, the colors are completely wrong the accelerometer is slower then a one legged pony, i miss lots of emails, i get dropped calls, the phone funtion itself is atrocious, the speaker phone turns itself on then switches my phone to landscape so i cant turn it off, the weather app is absolutely useless and never updates when i want it to.

I have ben using my phone with inverted colors for the last 2 weeks because i dont have a pc to try and do anything with it, i cant upgrade it or connect it to my computer. i cant use the music function unless i want to send one song at a time. the phone lags and its the worst investment ive ever made. And now i cant even get the thing to downgrade back to .76.

I am trying to use this phone and make it work but it is so incredibly difficult. If anyone has any tips or something on how to make this phone go back to at least the slower regular colored phone, ill take any advice. I love verizon and i thought this phone had a lot of potential, and assumed within a few months an operating system to make it work would be out, but i was terribly mistaken. any advice would be helpful thanks

Search the forums on "how to downgrade your OS". I know it can be frustrating. Were here to help.

can't you just use a friend's PC? you have to have a bb user friend somewhere who'll have the software already on their PC and will let you use it....or am i the only one who has corrupted a whole group of smartphone users to convert to all blackberry?

Storm is 5 months old now and we're still waiting on a decent OS. The Storm is NOT the worst phone ever but it doesn't stand up to other BlackBerry phones ( resent) at all. I really hope they get it right.

Unhappy Prepared to go to 8330

I've had my Storm since Verizon released it - I was one of those that forgot the premise to NEVER EVER get technology first thing out of the gate.
I have hoped that RIM would get the software fixed, but am tired of waiting.
I use my phone for business every single day. Some things I really love - but when it hangs or loses its mind, all the good is quickly forgotten.
I was hoping that Verizon would come out with the Bold, but it doesn't sound like that will be anytime soon.
Very disappointed.

I just started a thread a few hours ago about a letter I sent to the CEO of Verizon Wireless. I invite everyone to copy and paste that letter as well.

Crackberry nation, let me know what you think.

For the record, I do not agree with the title of this thread. What hurts the most is that we all know what the Storm is capable of ... the best analogy I can think of is ... the Storm has the physical god-given talent of Alex Rodriguez but all released and leaked OS's available currently perform like he usually does in the playoffs.
Did that make sense?

Worst phone ever???

Try a Moto Q and get back at me....

But I feel that the Storm was rushed to market. It will improve.....slowly.

Not the best phone I have ever had, that would go to my Curve, but the Storm is far from the worst, just about anything running WiMo would get that prize.
