Weird one, upgraded to .148 from .75. All works ok. It seems I go to 1xev from time to time (It might be after I tether or after I lose connection all together like in a subway). If I disable wireless and reenable it it goes back to 1XEV and all is fine. Any suggestions?

I would *22899 your device after you did that upgrade. I've seen my devices do this as well.

Mine just started doing this also. I installed .148 as a leak and never had this problem until after Verizon released .148 officially. I did not reload my OS to the official release.

Also it seems my reception has gone down significantly.

I've tried battery pulls, service book updates, *288, etc, etc. All with no luck.
If it keeps this up, I'm going to the store to have the tech support guys look at it.

    All

I was experiencing some of your problems as well. I used Swap-A-Radio to switch my .148 radio to the .109 radio (which was best for me), and im getting better signal strength and no more 1ex. Give it a shot if you want.

I'm having a network problem as well, data has been choppy lately, especially after getting out the subway. Never had this problem before installing the official .148 from big red.

Same here! Never had an issue until earlier this week. Today was real bad, 1xev a lot! Had trouble sending email, stuck in a queue until 1XEV. This has to be some kind of bug with .148 that just surfaced recently, I installed the leak without issue until now. I am going to post on the findings thread and see if anyone else is having the same issue.

Me too... Just swapped .109 radio code on the .148 build to attempt to rectify it. Maybe I'll gain some battery life too.

I am too tired to swap radio codes! But no doubt, when you are in 1xev mode, it KILLS battery life! Hopefully someone can just LEAK another OS! How sweet would that be?

That would be awesome... Then civic would have have her way with it and find all the UI bugs and everyone else would be trying to swap radio files and 5.0 browser files to make it suck less and ultimately we'd still end up with a big bag of FAIL!

I Called verizon on this last night, I got 5 dropped calls on a bridge doing 2-5 mph (full bars to no bars, just going back and forth), they said 22 dropped calls in 30 days is normal! With my last windows mobile phone I was lucky to get 2-5 in 30 days.

I put the .90 radio in and the signal does not fluctuate at all like .148, but the phone rebooted 2 times today, I will let it settle in, but I would rather have this than the fluctuation (.148 also drops the call for me when it hits 0 bars at times).

.148 also affects my data. I have notices this since I put .148 on, then I noticed what I posted above later on in the week by watching this pattern.

I had the same issue with 148. and constantly went to 1x. Never had the issue with previous leaks or hybrids though. Went with Lyricidal's 151 hybrid and now at a constant 1XEV...Plus i like the new transitions...Very stable OS.

Mine is doing the 1xev crap also. Time for a diff. OS. I'm pretty sure the radio from .151 cannot be used since it's for the 9500 only. You are still using the .148 radio.
