Ok...I figured we'd just have one thread summarizing applications that do NOT work with 5.0.

I know there are a lot of folks having issues with loading BBM 5.0 but that can easily be added back via DM v5.0.

How about other ones? I'm still downloading the file now, do Facebook and Ubertwitter work?

Hopefully this thread will eventually provide a comprehensive list of incompatible apps to help folks decide whether or not to take the plunge.

I have yet to get any IM working on the storm 5.0 but google search app is running now.

Other then IM not working, app world not working, facebook/mysapce not working, things are great.

I use beejive and no love.

VZ Navigator constantly times out on GPS requests. The program installs fine but something is definitely out of whack. GPS works fine for other stuff like weatherbug location finding, etc.

The latest version of BBweather is .88 I think... You must be talking about another program.. like Berryweather or something.

Has anybody given BBWeather a try? The OP wasn't to definitive..

as reported in findings thread, i never changed my default DL location, so any new apps DL'd OTA went to my home screen. when i DL'd VZ NAV (just in case it starts to work later, i know itz broken) it was there, then downloaded VVM and it seemed to overwrite the VZNAV app...they were both in the "applications" screen, so i had to reset the theme settings, and then battery pull for both to show up....could also explain/resolve all of the missing BBM 5.0 complaints...i believe to be a theme issue.

for future reference always change default DL location to avoid this problem, seems to avoid it for me no problem. idk how many people change that setting or don't and who's experienced these issues depending on the setting status.
