i have OS .132 right now (took that over .141 cuz from what ive read its buggy) and i like it i have no prob with it and with .148 just coming out i want to no if i should risk it and upgrade it or just keep the .132...

If you're fully satisfied, then leave it. I've heard nothing but good things so far about .148 so you could upgrade one day if you ever get bored or something.

It's not official. It's one of the new leaked OS'.

ok thanks man... just one thing... if there is a prob with .148 for me and i want to downgrade back to .132 so i just install it over .148 like i did the 1st install?

Yupp.

Also, if you're ever unsatisfied with .148 and want to downgrade back, leave .132 installed on your computer and in DM you'll have an option to pick the OS you want to install.

I was on .132 for a long time, refused to go to .141 because of all the bugs and was not up for trying a hybrid again. upgrade to .148 last night and it's been good, even quicker than .132 so I would recommend the upgrade. so far pretty stable.

before upgrading though, I always uninstall the previous version of the OS from my computer, reboot, then install the newer version. When DM loads, there is only one upgrade option. I haven't had any problems doing this at all. If you want to go back to .132 you can uninstall .148 from your computer and reinstall .132 assuming you still have the downloaded .exe files. I always save those just in case.

BTW - I'm extra paranoid so I reboot my computer every time I uninstall or install a new OS. Just OCD like that but haven't run into any problems yet.

ya im goin to upgrade this weekend when i have the time and also id like more feedback from the new OS mainly cuz it just came out last night just what to give it some time for people to find out about the bugs and if theres any major ones

132 has been the best leaked os for me but 148 has been pretty good so far. memory has gone up from 37 to 42 after installing 148.

Had been running .132 since it came out. Best OS I've run and I've tried most of them. Didn't bother with .141 because I didn't want to mess with a good thing! But....I was starting to get some lag after a couple weeks on .132 so thought I'd try .148....life was getting a little boring without a new OS to play with!!!

I've had .148 for about 24 hours now and like it. Not much difference from .132 but the lag I was having went away and it seems to be a little bit smoother. Runs like a slightly better version of .132.

My feeling is that we're getting closer and closer to a Gold Code, so the differences in the upgrades are probably going to be less and less noticeable.

Be careful, from what im hearing is that some parts of the older builds wont play nice with the newer ones.


I just upgraded from .132 to .148 and the difference is noticeable. Its worth the upgrade, .148 is the best OS so far.

Yes, this is a great OS. I have a bit more lag switching from lanscape-portrait and the other way around too. Minor nag of course.
