Thought I would make a new post for anyone with battery issues of this build. So far after doing 1 hour of music and intensive web browsing and texts with one phone call this bad boy is still running at 95%. Will post updates on this and everyone can share their battery issues here. Loaded this OS at 2:30 early morning. Running good still. More intensive things coming!

Battery life seems to be running good for me too. I've been running it for the last 4 hours doing texting, browsing, listening to music, reading and sending emails and playing nintaii with still 87% of the battery left.

Knock on wood, but it's been rather good for me too. I hope I'm not mistaken. The only real test is the work week starting tomorrow.

Sounds good gang, so far this is the 1 thing I have not been able to test yet. I was away for the weekend, and not able to upgrade to the leak till I got home today.

So far I am impressed, multiple reboots (softreset AND actual pulls) and no VSoD or Media Card. No random reboots, BUT too soon to say if they are gone for good. And the battery has handled my test reboots pretty good.

So far I'm a happy camper! .90 was starting to bum me out (the reboots and freezes)

Battery is holding up fine, but where does memory keep going? i sent a few txt messages and read a couple emails and I've lost 16 MB of memory in the past couple hours. Sorry, wrong thread I know!

Still up here, activity much lower since some in BBM logged. 30% here, from 12PM it was at 100%... quite impressive. almost 12 hours with Moderate activity here.

Moderate use and I am at 80 after about 10 hours on .99. I can get almost three days on a battery if I don't go too crazy like with music and videos and that was on .75.

Downloaded .99 today and have a few 3rd pty apps installed. After about 8 hours of min use the battery is almost dead. This is my worst battery performance to date.

same problem here. didnt have this problem with .90 or .75.

assuming everyones moderate use is not the same????? i went from 12pm-10:30 pm and im left with 45% starting with 100%......

(Lil' off topic but the day before i installed .99. my .90 battery life was sinking like a ship. 5% in two minutes by sending 3-5 SMS with replies and very little casual browsing. the battery completely died the end of the day. didn't like .90 much =\)

I went from 10AM this morning to 11:25PM tonight with somewhat light use. A few short calls, a few texts, a couple pictures, a video or two (and emailing them), and about 20 emails that I read all of. I think I did a little bit of web browsing and I also read all the posts on thestreet.com's application. I'm now at 55% still remaining. I must say I've not seen much of a change in battery life from OS to OS. Nothing that I would refer to as statistically significant without setting up laboratory type conditions and usage.

It's been about 2 hours since I took mine off the charger this morning, and it's still at 100%. I have a theory of what might have killed the battery so quickly yesterday after I loaded .90 onto my storm. My guess is that it was weatherbug using the GPS for a weather update(?)

Weatherbug is working now so I'll have to observe it the next few days and see what happens.

I am sure that is your problem. I ended up removing weatherbug (or you could just turn off auto updates) because I found that if it hangs on an update (like the browser does sometimes) it will drain your battery without you even knowing it.

x2, except by moderate activity I mean no activity. I charged it before I went to bed to 100% and unplugged it just to see where it'd be when I woke up...it was at 20%.

I did a batt pull and its charging as we speak in the office. I'll try again and see how it runs. I've never had an issue with my battery life being weak.

I guess I am lucky I have never had a bad battery usage with any update. I am at 24 hrs with normal use and I am at 75%. I used the web a bit,emails,text,calls. I have my backlight all the way down and the screen dims after ten seconds of no use so maybe this is why I am getting this.
