For all of you having battery problems, it seems some 3rd party apps are causing problems. Try deleting any that access the internet, I.e. Opera mini, etc (eBuddy in my case). After a reboot things work great.

Was also told about a smal trick. If you take a ripped business card and place it between the battery and the phone, it makes the keys more sensitive ... some interesting info.

I tried .103 for about 36hrs. No..... yes NO 3rd party apps running. .103 sucked the life right out of the battery. Went back to .99 this morning, so far so good. With that said, .99 is not a keeper in my book, however it's good enough to not want to make me throw the phone across the room. IMHO

yea my battery life is dreadful in .103. but it might have to do with the apps that im using. just viigo and slacker

I'd try battery pull....maybe resend service books(not sure if that'll help with the contacts though) or maybe make sure show all is checked...might be hidden for some reason.

jfriz... that worked. I checked show all and for some reason Contacts was hidden. Can't believe I didn't think of that. Thanks for the help.

I just went back to .75. I honestly think it is better than all of the unofficial leaks. I kept having a crap load of problems and had to do multiple battery pulls every day. .75 runs the best for me.

Ok so I updated to .103 and my email inbox icon is not anywhere to be found. I just have the SMS&MMS inbox and the generic "messages" folder.
i re-chose the option to have sms and email inboxes separate, but still no icon.

It also got rid of all my contacts after upgrading.

Can anyone help?

Ok so i used DM to restore info/settings such as my contacts, calendar list (that also was wiped in the upgrade), messages etc...
AND
It brought my email icon back!

i just got my storm. ima upgrade today to .103 then hybrid to .109 whenever i figure it out haha
