This is kinda amazing havent seen a leak with such limited response. I know it hasnt been out for long but not one post in findings on any site i been to so far very interesting. Guess the hype is not here today. It seems more 9530 users are hyped over it than 9500 Users lol
Haha yeah I must concur. For me one of worst leaks lol But Im curious to see any changes or updates. Also anyone get any progress with java file swapping.
they just got 5.0 today too, so they're probably more hyped about that
but they will have this to fall back to once they see 5.0 sucks lol
QFT.
Give this thread 24 hours and it'll be full like normal.
Got to love how it's pretty much all us 9530's in here and not really 9500's! I really want to see what 9500's have to say about this, so that we can see what (if anything) is new in it for us - I know we won't see tons of new features like we did on 5.0, but perhaps some few tweaks in it or specific areas of improvement that we (lyric) can take the cods from and compile into a 151 sfi with 151 majority javas, then a few 5.0's and 164 files...
Ok, after 5 minutes I don't see any changes to .151, except that the transitions work a lot better.
Obviously I can't say anything about the memory or the battery usage yet. And to answer a certain question: no, it doesn't have flick scrolling.
Well with 200 additional files in java for .164 compared with .151 I really want to see some results.
Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com
the bulk of that (if not all) is additional languages, no really other notably new files that I have seen yet
just began a boot with .164 and .151 QL fix files hope this is the ticket
Installed new 4.7.0.164 and from what I can tell its kept all the good things from 151 plus more speed. Every apps I've been testing, browsing internet, you tube, facebook they all seem faster so thums up from me!!
- Faster
- Volume chaning in Video-Player ist now possible
- Zoom-Effects work correct
- Keyboard works faster
- Radio is as stable as .151 has been
- Browser is a bit faster
- 52 MB after fresh install
- Didn't recognize a memory leak in the last 6 hours
