So far, I can confirm there is very little lag. Its quite snappy. The issue where media card inserted.... Then it gets stuck on carrier splash page seems to be gone. A2DP on video is still a no go.

here are some of the things i noticed
  • accelerometer is faster than .83
  • typing is much more responsive
  • correcting misspelled words is better...selected the word to correct is more accurate
  • ringer still does not ring through headphones
  • mute key does not set phone to vibrate when locked or not
  • after about a day full of BBM (12 hrs), a dozen texts and a few phone calls, my battery dropped to 20%
  • media inserted issue resolved
  • answering the phone with the touch key, in both portrait and landscape, took one attempt
  • finger follow on the home screen has not been restored
  • locking/unlocking takes one click and less than half a second
  • when listening to music and go to camera mode, music will stop, and when viewing the picture you took, the music will turn back on
  • seems like a more solid overall build

filename is: 9530AllLang_PBr4.7.0_rel120_PL4.0.0.107_A4.7.0.85. exe

With .83, I noticed that occasionally while using the browser, I'd press the back button (arrow), and it would close out the program. Do you know if this is remedied w/ .85?

Thanks Don!

im very disapointed, but it has nothing to do with you. Yes speed is important, but fix the damn bugs first. Too many people are complaining about the same sh*t for them to ignore it and release a speed update

i know your not done testin, and i know i sound like a ****** ... just venting.

if you have your key rate set to fast, that would be the reason...set it to medium

Did any of you see if the album art still gets distorted while turning the phone in the media player? I was hoping they'd fix it so it would be a clean turn without any of that.

Also, any update on the phone having some feature to not distrupt the call when pressing the screen during a call?

I noticed that too on .83. Does not seem to be an issue on .85
