I got the Seidio extended 2600 mah battery which increases the depth of the Storm 2:


Turns out the Milante case from shop.crackberry.com works well with it:


As does RIM's Curve 8350i case (suitably modded as with the Tour case to put a magnet in the correct spot for sleep mode):


But this is probably my favorite solution - the Storm 2 with extended battery fits the Verizon black soft plastic clip holster like a glove:


The phone sits close to your side and doesn't get in the way. Its easy to get in and out, yet its secure.

By the way, I'm getting about 80% more battery life with the Seidio battery.
