You should be able to download WHERE by visiting m.where.com on your Curve. Please let me know if you run into any issues.

Hi,

This sounds like a really useful application.

I went to the site you gave me on my curve but it says that it could not be found!

Does this also work for Verizon or is it an at&t only?

They say they have Where available for the Storm, so wouldn't that mean Verizon 9530 users can have Where?

Also, is it an always-on application which drains memory and battery - or does it only go on when you open the app?

Thanks. gstar

It seems like this could be a really cool app, but there has been no activity on the members forum since Dec 08, and I have found that the whole things seems really buggy and lacking friendliness.

Since a lot of us have to use the trackball to navigate, the UI is kind of tricky. It has a tendancy to skip past the word you want to highlight. Also, highlighted words only change colors. They don't bold which makes it even harder to tell what you are selecting.

I could go on and on, but I won't. I think this app may be dead or dying.

Did you try a battery pull after you uninstalled the app??? Battery pull: leave your device on, pull the battery, leave it out 20 seconds, put the battery back in, wait for your device to boot up.
