Default Warranty Exchange

Two months back I had to do a warranty exchange because of some issues I was having with my Curve. Since then I did 2 more exchanges and I'm getting really fed up with the poor quality "refurbished - like new" 8310 that they're sending me. Is there anyway to get another blackberry model and which model would they send? I want to know my options before I call again and get this malfunctioning handset replaced. Thank you.

They have a 3 strike rule, which would allow you to upgrade to another phone. I believe they offer the 8800 and some other nonblackberry phones.

I hope they let me choose the new curve or the bold. I don't want a 8820 it doesn't have GPS, and I don't want a 8820 doesn't have a camera. Besides the bold is the same price as the 8820 and the new curve 8900 is cheaper.

It's whatever device they feel is comparable. This means that it doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a BlackBerry and if it is, doesn't necessarily mean it going to be a Bold or 8900. You'll have to call and find out.

On your 4th replacement, you're supposed to be allowed another device.

8310 is comparable to a 8900, not Bold.

**UPDATE**
They're sending me a Bold. My options was another Curve 8310, a Pearl, or a Bold. Obviously, I chose the Bold. I tried requesting the 8900 but the CSR said that it wasn't in her system. Well it doesn't matter to me... but I made the poor lady run, haha. She had to hunt down a supervisor and she was out of breath by the time she got back. One of the most hilarious calls to AT&T I ever had. She tried pushing for the HTC Fuze, but I'm a loyal BB user. Power to BB users! Oh and she threw in priority shipping for free, that's a plus. So in conclusion, I got a new model and HOPEFULLY they're kind enough to send me a functioning model. Good luck to all you curve 83xx users, I'm gonna miss the redness of my curve but will be enjoying the Bold as well. Oh! and good luck to all you BB users with AT&T and the warranty department, hope you receive quality assistance just as I did. =)
