I am using two different methods for third party apps: (1) module software name or (2) device application order. Both are in the Composer. Actually, I prefer the name, but you gotta have the right name. In many cases you can just look up the software module name that you have installed on your phone via Options/Advanced Options/Applications...Unfortunately for WB, I have not isolated the right name and so I am using the DAO method. When you look at WB you will see a horrific bunch of names - who knows - WB folks knows. I have the same problem for VZNavigator. Most apps have very simple or stylized names that are easy to work with, but not WB and not VZNavigator.

As regards WB, realize that this is a complex icon and tricks are being pulled just to get to first base: we don't just want the icon, we want it to update as the weather changes. Plus, we want it for anywhere in the world. Things will improve.

If you look further, you will see that WB, BBWeather, and BerryWeather are all a challenge to deal with.

I can get WB to just display its weather icon - no temperatures. Both BBWeather and BerryWeather display temperatures. Have noted that both will revert to previous readings if phone goes from portrait to landscape and back. This latter snag made me crazy, but now I just live with it: all you gotta do is BB/escape and the current reading is correct: like guys used to do wiff der Zippo lighters. You can trade dis move for always checking yer memory !

Can get either one into either Banner or home screen. Very touchy. Don't horse around wiff either Normal or Focus icons - just accept the Device App Order pair and be happy.
