Text Menu Problem

First I must say that I have googled, searched high & low! I cannot figure out why all my themes come out with the menu's text discolored. Does anyone know how to fix this? What am I doing wrong? Please don't rip my head off!! I did go through all the posts in this section and couldn't find an answer. Please help!!

I had the same problem. Here is the solution:

The backgrounds for the dialog boxes that you are having problems with the text in are semi-transparent. For some reason the default font shows up fine when you use these semitransparent backgrounds but to use another font I've found that I needed to create a solid(non-transparent) backgrounds. You can create your own or go into the Plazmic samples folder under the program files and take their backgrounds and make them solid in photoshop by making multiple layers of the original and then saving the file. This should fix your issue.

Unfortuneately not, I'm at work but the background that I'm talking about looks just like the one you see there on theme builder under "dialog boxes". It's a small square with a black circle and a white border.
