Default remove black bar in banner

Can I remove the black banner image? so that its see through.

hi there, to remove the banner, you just have to replace the banner image with one that is clear, so find the image size, and hit `create new` in your image program, make sure you start with a clear background, then just hit save as .png and your away

I am at work and only have paint :-)

no i dont think paint will do it, however use the attached file
just rightclick where the image would normally be, and select save image as and then make sure it saves as .png

I downloaded gimp and that will do it for my future needs, it was my last piece to the puzzle.
