Default 8120 Zen theme

Hi all,

I am hoping that the clever folk here have an easy answer to my question. Basically, I want to remove the little yellow envelope icon that appears on the homescreen when I have new emails.

I have made a number of themes with Plazmic whereby I have removed that item from the banner, but I have never been entirely happy with the themes largely because of the limitations of Plazmic theme builder.

Does anyone know of a way to remove the envelope from the default zen theme on an 8120 (without having to rebuild a theme that has it removed)?

Thanks alot.

You can't. It's a function of the theme. Only way is to make your own and uncheck the box for unread indicator area on the banner.

Bugger. Thats how I've been doing it to date, but I was hoping that there was a trick that would mean that I didn't have to make my own themes. I wouldn't mind making my own if Plazmic wasn't so restrictive. Oh well.

Thanks anyway.
