BlackBerry Sync has an announcement today that Windows Live Messenger is finally coming to TELUS. Apparently service books are being sent to TELUS clients today and they will able to download it right from the home screen. The service will be FREE and included in all data plans.
Can not post URL at this time since I don't have 10 posts, but you should be able to find the article at blackberrysync dot com

It's not showing on my home screen and I tried to connect it to the BB site to download it directly to my phone via USB but it did not work. In case it did not auto update itself on my phone, where could I download it via my phone ?
Thanks

Trying to get this going on my 8703e thought this might help anyone as well. I can't use that blackberry site, I remember when I got my phone when I tried to register it said I can only access it from my phone, tried again now same thing. On my BB if I go to email settings, one option there is resend service books, so I did that and it said resent and I got an email saying my email will be set up in 20 minutes. It's been around 10 now, no MSN icon or anything but I keep checking, doesn't show network activity or anything like that either so not sure if I'm doing this wrong, but for anyone else that can't access the site based on your plan, you can do it from the phone.

I don't get it, I resent service books over 20 minutes ago no MSN icon has appeared. If I go to the browser and click Telus Mobility, it says Telus applications and there's Pocket Express and Telus Navigator and that's it. If I go to mobile.blackberry.com and go to stay connected, it has download facebook, yahoo messenger, gtalk messenger and blackberry messenger... Am I just impatient?

I just noticed on my phone if I go to edit email settings, I can say create a user name so I did, which gives me access to that far site above online. I went on there and also tried resending service books and I go tthe same email saying email works in 20 minutes. But what is supposed to happen now? Go to that URL and download it, or will it just appear for me? I have 8703e..
