Will an ATT user have problems with an unlocked 8900? What's the easiest way to transfer settings such as voicemail, text, and data?
    thanks

I use mine without any problems. Just do a back up on Desktop Manager and restore on your new device if your coming from a BB.

I've never had an unlocked phone before and am considering the same thing. Everything works on the unlocked 8900 on AT&T? Including wi-fi?

I have an unlocked T-Mobile 8900 running on AT&T services. I've never had any problems whatsoever and everything works. I'm also running OS 4.6.1.199 and for me, that seems to be the most reliable OS out.

WiFi yes, but I don't believe UMA does. UMA is what allows TMO users to make voice calls over WiFi, similar to VOIP. ATT does not support UMA that I know of.

You guys who are consider getting 8900 and unlock it on att. Yes you should get one and unlock it asap, no regrets at all.. I was used to have the unlocked BB 8300 (att) on tmobile server before, I had no major problem with it.

    cheers!
