Question Timer stuck at 72 hrs

So for about a month now my timer has been stuck at 72 hours. ive let it run all the way out but then it resets to 72 hrs again! ive done many battery pulls since it did this for other reason and it hasnt gotten fixed. any ideas? ive read a similar forum about a Bold but the timer on 8900's doesnt seem to work the same. any help is appreciated.

Are you absolutely sure that it doesn't have a limit to 72 hours? Because if
worse comes to worse I'd think it's an OS issue. A bit extreme but hopefully
someone can help you out on this one.

Done that. Its almost as if the default is 72 hrs. It was not like this originally. Example, just tried to set it for one minute, and it started from 72:00:59.

that is weird... checked mine and it works fine...

If it is a huge issue you could back up your data and wipe the phone and re-load. What OS are you using? Are you interested in upgrading?
