No, AT&T has it, but they just released the 8320... and they (AT&T) is downplaying their 2G support.

Its possible At&t will not release thhe 8900 and just wait for the 3G 9220 to hit. Makes sense since at one time or another, the EDGE may be downgraded to strengthen their 3G network.

Edit*** To add, At&t does not have them yet. :-)

Nor have they announced them. And the article *does* say "exclusively" to TMO. Not that it means a whole lot. Just that it could be 1 to 3 to 6 months before someone else does get one. On the upside for TMO, if att does not release it, there are no other major GSM carriers here in the US. That would make it pretty exclusive.

I think you might be right. It wouldn't make sense to release the 8900 after attempting to have their customers upgrade to 3g. Found some good info on this website

And to think that alot of people on here said AT&T already has theirs there just waiting to be made and they'll get it first. :-) Finally, Tmobile launches a good blackberry.

AT&T does have a shipment of 8900's. That does not mean however thta they will not launch it, or that they have decided not to. What you do not understand, is that things change, especially in this industry. Back from mid-summer last year, AT&T was set to release this device in Dec. But things changed. Not everyone has to be lying.
