native blackberry programs after 5.0 upgrade

I upgraded my Tour to 5.0.0.230 and it worked perfectly. I was just wondering how I can download the native apps, like Brickbreaker and the rest of the games that come with 4.7.1, and apps like the memopad, tasks, etcetera. Also, when I go to the application list, no apps are listed. How is this? I do miss those apps, any help would be appreciated!

Okay guys, I have been playing with different OS 5.0 builds for a bit now. They're getting pretty stable IMO as far as thats concerned. Threaded SMS is awesome..I like it a lot.

Now to the point.. The ONE thing 5.0 lacks is an option to export SMS "chat" history like you can do in BBM. You can email a copy of the chat to yourself. I have always used 3Jam to do this in the past to keep a permanent record of all my conversation(SMS) in a folder in my email. So if it is possible to export your conversation in BBM, I do NOT understand why it is not enabled for SMS. Once it gets that, I will be a perfectly happy camper.

Hi guys im new here.. i would like your help.. the thing is that i have a blackberry 8900 form t-mobile.. it came with the 4.6 OS but when I tried to download any application (for example BB messenger 5.0 or Facebook 1.7) my BB got "nuked"..I downloaded a new OS and solved the problem following the steps I found to solve that kind of problem.. but today i wanted to upgrade the actual OS 4.6 to a 5.0.0.348 Beta that I found.. I wiped my device using BBSAK and then I upgraded the OS but my BB got nuked again...I dont know what to do.. plz heeeelpp!!!

Hey all... I've tryed loading my 8330 curve with 5.0 OS but everytime i do i lose my 5.0 BB Messenger.. Is there somethimg I'm doing wrong? I'm currently running 4.5 OS with 5.0 BB Messneger update...

Help with profiles on .314 for 8900

Before on the 4.6 OS's, you could go to profiles, and customize all of the notification settings there. But in 5.0.0.314, I cant find a menu that is like that. Where can i go to customize the notifications on my profile? I've been looking for about an hour now. ><

.348 woe, stuck in continous boot

phone reboots once it gets to the end of loading the OS, never makes it to the OS. This happened after the .314 to .348 upgrade. I did a search on a restore mode and know I can go through the apploader, but it doesn't stay long enough where I can load the OS or wipe with BBSAK. Please help!

Any Way to Disable Alt-Delete?

I tried searching for this, but I wasn't able to find a solution. The alt-delete screws me over way more than it's helpful. If you had to hold alt and push delete I think that'd make for much fewer mistakes. But anyways, I was just wondering if anyone knows of a way to turn this off.

Mobihand App Store works (I currently can't log in--just get a black screen) and there is a menu option to update the PRL with Sprint. Do any of the current hybrids work with these, or should I just go back to .230?

8330m OS install after wipe

long time reader, 1st time poster. Equipment: one month old 8330m from Verizon running 4.5.0.160(253)/3.4.0.41 w/ 47MB free memory. The only 3rd party apps installed are RoadRunner GPS, Bank of America mobile banking, Oper mini 5 (beta), Weather Eye and FileScout. Facebook came preloaded from Verizon. Here's my situation: after backing up settings and data thru Desktop Mngr (DM v5.0.1) and apps thru BBSAK v1.7 I used BBSAK to wipe the device and got the white screen and 507 error. I then went to C>program files>common files>research in motion>apploader and deleted vendor.xml and launched loader. The phone (battery in) was recognized and the internet was disabled (to force the loader to see the installed .175 OS and not the "official" .138 release from verizon). The load proceeded to the to the add modules stage and only the email app was automatically loaded so I used the "Add" button and browsed to the .175 installation folder to manually add the .alx files. All went well until I got to the platform.alx add which failed with a "incompatible with device" error. As a result I had everything needed for the install EXCEPT the system software/radio file and of course the install attempts failed. After a LONG time and numerous recovery attempts I succeeded in re-installing .160 which has been stable (only 2 lockups which I think were my fault for trying to run too many operations at once). I really like the idea of wiping the device before an OS install but will never voluntarily go thru THAT nightmare again!! Anyone know what I did wrong or can point me towards more information? Additionally, the installs on top of an existing OS (no wipe) went without a hitch as the system software was automatically recognized as the upgrade or downgrade it was. I have read in mutiple threads about "installing after a wipe" and would like to be able to do that in subsequent upgrades. I am running my Bold 9000 on the 5.0.0.314 leaked OS (for now - I keep downgrading and upgrading, trying to choose between great new features and annoying bugs.) I have disabled the "new" Event Sounds feature (Options: Advanced Options: Accessibility), yet even when I have my audio/ring profiles set to silent (or vibrate), I still get an alert on startup (which wouldn't be so bad if it weren't happening randomly during the night, at the movies, etc.) Has anyone else seen this and, if so, have you found a fix? I have not yet tried to run the .348 radio on the .314 build, but doing so to reduce/eliminate the random reboot may end up being the only answer. Any feedback or experience is appreciated.

OS 5.0.0.230 On 8330 Restarting After Long Calls

I have the .230 (non-hybrid) release of 5.0 on my curve and have noticed that after a long phone convo that the phone will reboot itself. My husband is finding this too.

I looked around the forums and didn't see anyone else mention this... or perhaps I was searching for the wrong thing. Anyone care to hint about the cause of this?:confused: Or perhaps I am wording this wrong. Anyone care to hint to a solution?
