I am having trouble with my storm. I had the firestorm theme for my phone and really liked it but then I downloaded the update for my software, and now the theme won't display my next 5 appointments on my home screen like it used to. I tried to download a similar app and it still wont put my appoinments on my homescreen. Another problem I am having, is i'm trying to downlaod the newest media sync for my mac but it says the software is not the most up to date and won't downlaod. I have the newest software for both my mac and storm just curious if anybody else is having this problem or if there is a something I am missing.

I can't believe I'm the only one who is annoyed by the VERY long default image filename, which comprises image number and date.
Just an incrementing image number would suffice (such as 001.jpg). Is there a way to change this?
Thanks.

Hi,
I am having a hard time finding out if my Blackberry 9530 Storm will work with the car radio Bluetooth adapter (the only one that would work with my car radio) JVC KS-BTA200.

I contacted JVC and received a link (which I cannot post since I just registered here) which contains information from March 2009, and it does list one Blackberry as compatible for hands free phone functionality and a version of the same phone as not compatible (or so it seems to me).

So if I went by this list, the answer is no, which makes me less willing to spend over $100 if I can't be sure that it'll work.

Does anyone have more current information or a test result of their own if newer Blackberries, especially the Storm, work with this Bluetooth adapter?

The least it should do is allow hands free phone features, but SMS would be nice, too.

I'm fairly new to Bluetooth and haven't used it much except for one handset a while back - are there any standards that say "if this device has this standard, it will always work"? Or is Bluetooth functionality sometimes random, even if it "should" work?

Thanks!

Just experienced some very weird behaviour on my Storm 9530..

The screen click was not activating commands or opening menus. Holding down the 'end' key and switching on again, nothing. Couple of battery pulls, nothing.

Then I performed what we call in science "one experiment too many" and plugged it into my charger for a minute..pulled it out and it's working fine now...damn it ! I would probably have been issued with a new phone (or possibly Storm2) had I taken it down to the Verizon store :)

Incidentally, anyone see this behaviour before ?

I don't do many battery pulls, just do restarts when I delete apps and such but its kind of annoying to have to keep deleting my callback number.
