the pins on the motherboard of my 9900 got damaged from a repair shop ..does anyone know where or if this can be fixed i think the only repair would be a new board but i saw a video i think it is possible or is my phone scrap

I have 9000 Bold, which doesn't recognise any sim card. the phone is unlocked, after typing MEPD every line is "disabled". all i can see after putting every single sim card is "insert sim card" and sos only. i've checked golden sim joints, everything seems to be fine with the sim slot. but there is one thing that may cause the problem. i found out, that there is one missing piece on the mainboard next to the sim slot, on the left side. i've made a photo of it. do you think, that this missing piece has an influance on my problem? what can you suggest me? I would be very grateful for every piece of advice.

I'm currently in Riyadh and am having a hard time finding a shop that will fix it, and was told to just throw it away. More importantly than the phone itself are the videos and pictures on it that I really really need to get, as well as all of my contacts' information.

However, when I try to get at the Calendar on the same BB, Outlook Express is not offered as an option, only Outlook on the Set Up Sync box, so I can’t configure this.
Have you any suggestions on how I can recover the calendar?
