Hi, I hope this is the right thread for this topic. I recently created a theme for my 8310 curve on Blackberry's theme builder but although I can export it to my phone as a useless zip file, I can't get the alx file that I get when I publish for device manager to work with application loader. I can select the alx file but I either get and error message along the lines of 'application loader could not find any new applications', or something like that, or once or twice I've had 'xml syntax error on line 1'. I've searched all over the internet and tried everything I could think of but I still can't get it to work. Help!

Hi everyone,

I live in France (my provider is Vodaphone SFR). & I bought few days ago an unlocked Blackberry 9630 Tour, from USA.

As you expect, I've a problem :
I want to activate my BIS account and take advantage of Internet services, browser, MMS, BBM...
I tried to register at bis.eu.blackberry.com/html?Brand=vodafr

but, I get the following error message:
-------------------------------------------------
Can not create account:
This BlackBerry (R) device is not registered with your wireless service provider.
Please register this device and verify that the URL of the current web site matches
the one provided by your wireless service provider. (...)
-------------------------------------------------

So, I call my french provider (Vodaphone SFR), asking them to activate my BIS themselves.
but, no way. They conclude that my PIN is already registered on Sprint BIS (not sure about this but ok..)

Finaly, I called Sprint. but, they can't disable my PIN (if it's enabled) without the Sprint account attached (I dont have any).

1 - My first question is: Is my approach makes sense or I'm off topic?
2 - Would anyone ever encountered a similar problem? (resolved or not)
3 - Have you a way to circumvent and/or solve my problem?

thank you in advance for your help!
MR BIG.

Background:
I have a Hotmail email account set up on my BB. It sends, receives, and reconciles just fine.
BUT, I have to plug in my USB to transfer in and out new items that I've updated/input on either the BB or the desktop Outlook (example: contacts, calender entries, tasks, memos, etc.)
Question:
I currently don't have an email account hooked up to my desktop Outlook. Is there a way to associate/make my Hotmail email address an Outlook email? And if so, will all info reconcile and transfer wirelessly/automatically when something new is updated/changed on either my BB or desktop Outlook to the other?
If this is possible, could you please reply with detailed steps to make this a go.
Thanks.

Last week I got the new BB Storm 2 and ever since I got my new phone, when I read emails from my BB it's not showing as read on my home PC/mailbox. Also something else I noticed.. When I send something from my BB, it used to store it in my sent folder on my home PC and it's not doing that either. When I delete an email from my BB and choose to delete BB and mailbox, that works fine.. Just the other two items.

Any suggestions? I've tried everything and am having no luck! My email accounts are MSN and my settings are: Delete On: Prompt Wireless Reconile: On and on conflicts: mailbox wins.

I've a couple of Hotmail email accounts set-up on my 8350i...
One account when you wish to delete an email prompts three icon boxes appear: "On Mailbox and Handheld," "On Handheld," and "Cancel."

The other Hotmail account only prompts: "Delete" and "Cancel" icon boxes.

How can I make the second email account offer the option(s) of the first email account? Sometimes I don't want a particuliar email on my BB-but, do wish to reatain it in the email inbox itself (not delete it).

Thanks.
